Does anyone know if you can successfully transplant Easter Lillies into the ground for other years? I hate to see them go to waste, the church up the street gets them for the Easter service and then tosses them out. It is such a waste.

Have any interesting weekend plans? We have had some very mild weather but are supposed to get snow this weekend, I could do without the snow, but not my choice. Happy Spring!

Does anyone participate in seed exchanges? I was asked to participate in one. I am required to buy 15 packets of seeds and I split them and get half of someone else's. It seems easy enough.

How long do you have snow in your area? It is usually June before it is completely gone here and even then you can still find it in parts of the woods.

I have a dead tree in my back yard I need to cut down, it seems to be central to only the one tree, would it be OK for me to use it as fire wood or should I have it hauled away? I don't want something to spread to my other trees.

What is the first thing you do to your lawn in Spring? So you mow, rake, fertilize? I usually rake and clean up the old growth, cut everything back and let new growth start up.

My husband's car won't take gas right now, it takes forever to put even $5 in it, if you go too fast it comes spitting back out. In the summer it works fine, this only happens in the Winter, what do you think it is? We have dumped a pile of gas line antifreeze in it as well.
