    10" tiller/cultivator Problem?

I have one of the 10" tiller/cultivators made by Noma, branded Dynamark, with a two-cycle Tecumseh engine (I've had it several years). Yesterday, I was tilling some garden with it when the tines stopped, engine running good, but little tine rotation! I'm assuming the centrifugal clutch went...

    John Deere 22B Utility Trailer

I recently happened onto a CL ad for a "John Deere Lawn Cart". Since I was about to build a small parade trailer to haul one of my JD "lawn tractors" behind one of the bigger "garden tractors" in parades, I took notice of this one. I'd never seen a JD like this one & did a little research on...

    Pics of Our Tractor Show

We had the 4th annual Farm Equipment Show here Friday & Saturday. We're a small show, but had a pretty good turnout. 14 L&G's & 14 farm tractors plus a near perfect model "A" & an early 1900's Amish "pony buggy". ~~ grnspot

    Brinly "Gard-N-Cart" Replica

I've been working on a replica of a Brinly "Gard-N-Cart" for my 74-112. Slats are 1/4" x 2" x 23" long. Copied from pictures I've saved over the years & one on a CC I saw at a show. I've still got a couple of small things to do, then take it apart for cleaning & paint. ~~ grnspot

    Attachments Busy Day Today!

Nice day today, so I took the 37A snowblower & cab off the 74-112. Cleaned them up & put them in storage for the summer. Then switched the Carlisle "All Trails" from the 112 back to the 317 "Special". Also got the 71-110 out from winter storage (started right off for setting all winter)...

    Woodworking Projects

I've been working in the shop the last few days. Needed a couple of small folding tables to hold photo books at tractor shows. I have one of these I made several years ago out of redwood, these are from unknown lumber from an old house that was torn down 50 years ago. Boards had been used...

    My Day Today!

Since it seems like somebody on LMF needs something to read, here's my agenda for today! Started out around 6 (that's AM); Went to the shop (50" from the back door) & fired the wood stove. Came back in & shaved, checked emails & forums, ate breakfast. Went back to shop, sharpened...

    Attachments Toro/JD #8 Lawn Cart

I traded for the red "Toro" cart in the picture today, my intention is to find smaller wheels & make a JD #8 out of it (same pan & under carriage). Just wanted to find out if the Toro cart is a very "valued" item before I change anything! ~~ grnspot110

    How's Your Weather?

We've had 7-2/3" of rain this week, more on the way now! :frown: One State hwy river bridge is out of commission just north of town. Debris against the center piling collapsed the piling yesterday. Big inconvenience for a lot of people! State will have to inspect it when the water goes...

    JD L/60 "Custom"

Last winter I built the 317 "Special", the winter before I was the L/60 "Custom"! This project started out as a 1969 model 60 lawn tractor with a "blown" replacement 6 HP Tecumseh engine. I bought the tractor two years before planning to restore it, by the time I got to it, there were no...

    JD 317 "Special"

This was my project for last winter: I started out with a John Deere 317 "rolling chassis" I bought at an auction for $40. Found an 18 HP Kohler Command from a damaged Miller welder for $200 (that's when I quit keeping track of $$$ spent). Found another 317 frame, hood, side panels, etc., new...
