    ''New'' Honda mower

    A HR 17 DB chassis(deck) S/N .. 1079445 needs wheels ! Needs a bag ? $150 plus ! Last year or so, I looked at a 12 inch Honda ! I wonder , will this take a ''mulching'' blade ?

Honda hrz216tda, with caster wheel , any good .

Do these work ? My "lawn" is nearly the opposite of a golf course. I have many gardens, many bushes and trees , so 20 to 40% of the time , I am trying the steer the mower, actually forcing things ..this is tiresome ..

    12' hONDA MOWER

This exists .. I could have bought one for a "high" price, but I refused . the owner would NOT bargain ..In a way, I wish now that I did spring .. A 12" is great for trim work , the regular 21" is too big and clumsy . Now I see a Honda regular size with pivoting front wheels ..

    Honda 12" trimmer mower, gas

As advertised on CL .. This, to me, is unusual, indeed it is 12", not 21" ..Also, it seems to have been a sales "flop" . I think that it was a good idea ..with all my plantings, I need a small trimmer. This, in conjunction with the Simplicity EZ 1644 (another "flop" ) should do the trick..

    Ignition Switch Key

The key is missing , of course ... NEVER buy an automobile in this state.. But, with the 4212 Simplicity, a small screwdriver suffices for now .. What I wonder is this .. What other keys work ?

    tractors , garden and lawn

I have read about , on Craig's List , garden tractors and lawn tractors ...What is the actual difference ? I think the two I have are just lawn tractors ..

    Simplicity 4212 H

Needs a little TLC ..actually need a lot of restoration . tires wheel bearings rust battery solenoid ignition switch , I have no key.. seat but not too bad for 30 years and 200,000 miles . and I need the manual . "mowers graveyard" ??

Simplicity ZT 16 44 Hydraulic Oil Specs

I think I must change the transmission oil...I think that the oil pressure is too great at the reservoirs, resulting in leaks... Of course, the real reason is that the oil looks dirty... 20-50 motor oil ? regular hydraulic oil ?? ATF ??? Simplicity is NOT helpful

    55

As in PSI, compression. Hard to start when hot - at times 55 psi is not so great, but I did not do the oil test. She is but 6, buts its a Tecumseh, not a Honda ! And this is why Detriot is "dead", according to conservatives. Not that unions are without sin.. So, I may need new rings ? or valves...

    Lawn-Boy 8237

My newest acquisition. a LB with 100K miles or more....$10 for a non-runner. This one has rear drive, wobbly wheels and partially shredded decals. I'll epoxy the little hole in the deck. I see why these LBs have such a fan-following....they are one good machine...

    Edger, sidewalk

Well, I finally sprang for one. A Sears (no shame) 4.5 hp (probably a lie) 3 wheeler, over 5 years old , for $100, via CraigList. A "well engineered" but thin-metal special , probably retailed for $200 when new. A 6.5 inch blade, but I see the room for a 9 incher..... Then , I'll have to learn...

    Lawn edger/trencher - which is best ?

I need an edger that works, and works well...not a wanna-be.. Does anyone make a good one at a fair price ?

Walk behind 30" Toro TimeCutter for one grand.

Opinions ? I have some - a great mower, thus far, and its about time. But I'd like to see caster wheels in front....I think.

    30" Toro Time-masters

$1000 30" cut - its about time. 4 reviews , all excellent. Question - how is the handling ease ? I have noticed with the Toro/Lawn Boy that its heavy and physically demanding to make circular turns (cutting a circular ever increasing pattern). Ariens swiveling caster wheels can easily fix this...

Ariens 34 walk behind with swivel wheels

Seems to be a new 2011 model, does anyone here own one ? $1500 or so; but I wonder about the ergonomics. I was at Kerrys of Mechanicsburg,PA., yesterday, but see no possibilities for a "road test".. On such a heavy mower, IMO, the swivel or caster wheels are a must; but, how does she track ??
