I found out the problem. I didn't have the piston at top dead center so it made the timing off

I replaced the ring gear on flywheel on a 13.5 hp Briggs and Stratton and now all it does is roll over and backfires through exhaust. Shear key is good. What do I do now?

I have a 8hp briggs that turns over hard. Cylinder walls looks brand new. need suggestions on what is making it turn over so hard.

I have replced drive belt and it didn't kast 5 rounds and belt shredded. What would make this to happen?
