I do find it irritating and distracting. Anyone else feel that way?

That one I don't mind. But, it DOES give the impression that we're a Cub forum.....and we're so much more...

It'll pay the bills. It's better than the ones covering up the first post in a thread. It could be an "animated gif" ad.....you know, the one that tells you that you're the 100, 000th visitor? The one that eats up so much memory when posting - the cursor doesn't blink, it jitters.........

Actually It looks pretty good... It allows you to scroll down, that hides it above the top...
It is not a "flashing" add.
it has a LITTLE, not too much, movement and it is a mower... so I don't mind looking at it.

About the ONLY advertisement that would be offensive might be a Law office, attorney add... that could be distracting... :smile:KennyV

Ever notice.....the manuals consist of little more than B&W versions of the stickers.....with commentary as to what they 'really meant'......

May be off topic here, but about manuals...today's are practically worthless. Back in December I ordered a new Asus widescreen monitor, the manual that came with it had over 240 pages, it was for several different models of monitor in the same line, the one I had purchased had a half page of instructions for mine, and the entire manual was printed in something like 35 different languages. 240 pages of information and I only needed a half page. STUPID.
