Z122EBR slow to start

Engine is slow to start vs earlier in its life. Around 350 hrs on the Briggs motor.

New plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pick up line, vac hose to rocker cover, air cleaner. After a long crank it runs good.

Somewhere else on this fine forum, I saw a similar issue addressed by valve adj.

Manual says take it to dealer for this adjustment…..I don’t take anything I own to a dealer unless it’s warranty.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Your Kubota Manual should have intake & exhaust valve specs.
Mower manufacturer: Kubota, Cub Cadet, Craftsman etc.? Engine manufacturer: B&S / post Model xxxxxx, Type xxxx, Trim xx Code xxxxxxxx, thanks, Mark

adjust valves with engine cold.

Thanks for your reply. I may not have made it clear in my post, but the manual does not provide valve clearance specs ( Just states “take it to dealer).
