Yellow Greenery

My houseplants don't seem to do very well in the winter. They always seem to get a little yellow. I add fertilizer to the watering can, I water regularly but not too much, I think they get enough light. What could it be?

Harriet, I think you may love them a little too much! You might try eliminating the fertilizer during the winter. Even houseplants go dormant in the winter, so they need little to no fertilizer.
