Have Husqvarna riding mower. Drive belt is twisted. Local repair shop seems to think I need to replace belt. Can’t I just take off belt, untwist it and put back on?
First you need to work out why it got it's knickers in a knot.
Once a belt twists, it is damaged and usually will continue to twist again whenever it is straitened out.
So the dealer is 1/2 right but do not let them replace the belt without coming up with a reason for it twisting or you will be back for another belt.
