Hello all, I'm new to forum. I have looked at many videos on location of the spark arrestor. I don't know, but mine doesn't have the 15mm hex screw that they show. I believe mine is an older model and what's involved to find and clean it ?
Thank you for any insight.

Then you probably have one of the KAT mufflers.

Thanks Star Tech. I see a hole in the bottom of the weedeater, but I can't tell what type of screen it is.

Ok Star Tech. It is a KAT muffler. I removed the back of the weedeater and I saw the screw on the bottom, but I haven't seen a screen. It looks like a metal exhaust port to the bottom of the muffler.

I don't know, but the screw is still intact. I don't see where a screen would be on my FS 55r, going by the diagram Star Tech sent. It is a solid metal port across the bottom of the KAT.

Is this one that I have to pull the entire KAT muffler out to clean the screen ? That's what it appears to me.
