Anybody know when they stopped making these?, anybody have one of these, why did they stop making them? They were called the STHM hydro mower

I used to have a 76" Yazoo HPTOK. Very similar design to the SCAG.

Couple of issues. Sitting on top the wheel beats the crap out of you on rough ground. Machine pivots on the drive wheels. Quick pivot turn will throw you out of the seat. I had to wear the seat belt. Machine was 10 feet long. A ZTR is just over half that. At 76" the Yazoo was a mowing machine but it just beat the hell out of me. A modern ZTR is better.

So, they made a knock off version of a Yazoo, basically

Pretty much. I think Yazoo was first with the design. Not sure why but Ferris still makes the Pro Cut S front mountoriginal.jpeg
Never seen one actually in use.
