I picked up a "mini" riding mower the other day. (Engine in the center right between rider and steering). I wanted to fix this up as a project (fun). The engine is shot on it.
My question: I have a push mower I'm tempted to use the engine off of. I know you can't/shouldn't run a push mower without the blade, but will putting a pulley in its place accomplish the same thing? Is it the blade weight or weight and size that work as counterbalance?
Thanks for any help, I can't really find an answer online. ** Just realized I mispelled title, sorry about that ***
