I've got a push mower I would rather adjust to have a shorter string (torn rotor cuff healing) but it looks like it might not work. I hate to buy a new mower. Can ride on's be rented and would it be cheaper than buying a push mower with an electric start?

Renting a lawn mower is not practical... It would be more reasonable to find someone in your neighborhood and pay them to mow until you are back kicking... KennyV

Thats twice today you have impressed me with your ability to see simple and obvious but sheer genius solutions. I should have thought of that. Barring someone willing I suppose I *could* price mowers with electric starters, but I'm not excited to do that.
