Research, read reviews, take your time looking it over & ask sales person questions you may already know the answer to. Make sure equipment has been serviced, greased for instance on a lawn tractor. Try piece of equipment out operating all controls, are you comfortable using equipment, if not mark it off your list & have a couple more on your list to look at. If you are satisfied with equipment & plan on purchasing ask for a Veteran or Senior Citizen Discount. Will you be servicing equipment yourself or using Dealer Service? Check out Dealers reliability, do they put the customer first or pad their pockets? References are always good to have when using a new dealer for the first time. Will they deliver new equipment & pick up & return after service? Always register your new piece of equipment online with Model & Serial numbers for Warranty purposes. If you can take pictures of Model & Serial numbers with your phone of engine, tractor, ZTR, lawnmower, transaxle, transmission, etc. for future reference. Always read Operators, Engine, & Parts Manuals before using. Educate yourself & enjoy your new Outdoor Power Equipment. Always remember- SAFETY FIRST!
