When plowing snow today I noticed that only one wheel was "driven" (right side) the left was free wheeling. Is there a pin or woodruf key that might be broken?

Thanks,
Will

It is a standard designed differential. Same design as automobile differential. Basically if you raise the rear end, lock the brakes, and spin one wheel the other will turn in the opposite direction. IT done so one wheel doesn't slide in a sharp turn. But when you lose traction of one of the drive wheels you are just spinning your wheels per say just like you do in a vehicle.

Nothing missing other than a differential lock which the mower does not have.

I never noticed it before. Thought they both spun.
Thanks,
