Should the plastic fuel tank rattle around as bas as it does? Its brand new. Had a D100 and the tank was sloppy but not this bad. Appreciate any help. Thanks

Yes, that's the way it is suppose to ;be. The floating action of the tank creates a more accurate reading on the fuel gauge.

Thx, but I mean it really seems loose and I cant see in there to tell whats supposed to be holding it secure.

IT sits on a plastic cradle that is prone to breaking on the right hand side , or at lease the 2 done by me were both broken at the same place .
A bit on the flimsey side for a JD .
One got replaced & the other converted to fixed mounting.
There was a problem with these tanks splitting along the seams after prolonged use, have also welded up 3 of them so the sprung mounting may have been to combat that .'
Dunno as only JD dealers will get the service bulletins & I am freelance.

It's brand new. Watch the video and see if that helps your curiosity. If not go to the dealership and take a look at any of the 100 series riders and see if they are the same.

Yhx guys. That's exactly how mine is wobbling around. Doesn't seem right just to measure gas level though.
