I picked up an 8237 circa 1980 I believe. It was stored in a barn for 20+ years and in rough. Fixed several issues and have one last one I am stuck on.
After THOROUGHLY cleaning the carb, the mower will NOT stay running unless I goose the primer bulb. I suspect the part I have on the carb in the picture is blocked partially still. I am not sure I can remove the piece (it is stuck) piece highlighted with the arrow. The float floats but I can't guarantee it's adjusted right and that could be an issue. Previous owner may have messed with the adjustment screw on the side of the carb. Any ideas??? Thanks!!! Todd H
