Model Determination

Was given a rough JD 105, S/N? 1GXD05EAEEE523372
Deere site does not recognize the s/n. It is above the engine info: Model 31R9 77 001 G1, s/n 13 0524 ZA 628 10

Would appreciate someone with more JD experience helping me finding a digital parts and operators manual.

That is the engine EPA number which doesn't mean anything except the EPA. The JD model serial number tag will either be on the back or in some cases the side of the frame. In this case may start with M0105

I think there is digit missing. Looks to be a D105 especially with that newer of an engine. Kinda doublt it is the older 105. Engine info converted is 31R977-0001-G1 Date code 130524ZA remaining would part of the engine serial number. 130524ZA62810 which comes back as 31R977-0001-G1 engine. 2013 May 24.

Ok thanks...I've looked in all the obvious places, under the seat, on the rear panel on the frame with no luck. I'm going to hang it from my hoist and give the frame a look.

The serial number is on the frame under the left rear fender.
