LX176 12HP Kawasaki no run

Hello!
My name is Ed and I have a problem.
And it looks like this is a good place to get an answer.
The engine fires and runs perfectly for about 30 seconds and shuts down, no sputter, just as if the key had been turned off.
Oil level good. Cleaned carb, fuel lines, filter. Good fuel flow to carb.
Jumped what I believe to be a fuel shut-off solenoid on the carb and still have same result.
What is going on?

Have you checked for spark immediately after it shuts down? May have a hot open or short in the coil.
