I have been shopping for a new Zero Turn this spring and I am very interested in the new Ferris ISX 800. I am leaning towards a EFI engine for fuel economy and overall performance. I have about 10 acres that I mow between my yard, and trails around my property. I have been looking at ferris because of the independent suspension and overall build quality. The three motors that I am trying to decide between are the Briggs and Stratton Commercial 27hp efi, the Kawasaki 27hp efi and the Vanguard 26hp efi. I dont know a lot about any of them and I am looking for input on reliability. What have people seen come in for service more often?? Any input would be appreciated.

I vote for Vanguard, then Kawasaki and then Briggs commerical in that order. I am not sure of pricing but my suspicions are that I have also listed them highest cost to lowest. My step dad has the 28hp Vanguard EFI in his Ferris IS2100 and it is a BEAST!
