HRX217HMA Only has spark when disconnecting coil kill switch wire.

Picked up a Honda mower for free last night, I only get spark when disconnecting the kill wire. People online are saying it's the stop switch underneath the flywheel? Any help would be highly appreciated.
Also looking online I don't even see the kill switch part #...?

Either the cable is out of adjustment, possibly stretched, or the stop switch has failed.
