Help identifying origins of mower

Alright folks, my neighbor sold me an old mower that has the same model number as his antique lawn boy. 8SH10. His has the Suffix LB, naturally being a lawn boy. Mine has no suffix, and the back of the deck is stamped “Bell Ringer”. Both have the iron horse engine and are darn identical mowers, save for a few differences in the deck castings. It appears they are both RPM mowers. But does anyone know what department store or brand sold the Bell Ringer version of the Lawn Boy 8SH10?
