Hello all!
A little about me...
My first rider was a 1998 Honda Harmony 1011 RER. It lasted for about 12 years. I replaced it in 2010 with a 2009 JD X320. The X320 was a great mower, but I wanted something beefier. This past spring, I saw an X485SE on a local dealer's lot and had to have it. So I traded the X320. About a month later. I found a 1988 JD 318 at a tractor/engine show and picked it up for a good price, intending for it to be my backup mower. And, well, after all, it's a 318. Nuff said! Unfortunately, it's now sitting in my garage - won't start. Next spring, I'll prolly get it to the dealer to have him take a look at it.
I've learned a LOT about lawn/garden tractors in the past 3 1/2 years, especially JD GTs. i'm not a mechanic (and never will be) but I do know the JD line pretty well, especially their more recent stuff. I look forward to learning more here and maybe giving back a little when I can.
