Soap Box time ladies... I woke up Thursday morn. with excruciating pain in my back traveling into my knee. Since that time I worked an 8 hour and an 16 hour shift. Then I rested 2 days and I am finally conceding defeat and going to the doctors today. Sciatica may be a possible cause and a torn tendon in the knee may be another. All I know is it hurts something fierce. Now the point. I have never had to worry about ability issues, I am a short guy so I have always had a little chip on my shoulder to show I could keep up with the big boys. That being said if I ever hurt something I knew right away, this thing hit me without warning or prior indicators, that just has to be an age thing. Im only 44 for crying out loud. For the outro I'll leave with a funny saying I heard a while back. "You come into this world bald and stupid and you leave it the same way" :)

Sounds like you twisted something while sleeping. most likely shifted a vertebra, causing a pinched nerve. I to am 44, and was diagnosed with spinal spurs 15 years ago. One of these days I will probably have to look into getting it fixed. Standing more than 20 minutes causes leg burning from my hips to my knees. Sciatica flare ups about every other month. Doing any work on my knees pinches a nerve, and if I hit the right angle, is like someone stuck a nail in them.

Knock on wood, I will be 66 this year and no ability issues yet, I hope it stays that way.

All the aches & pains you encounter as you get Old, are there to remind you of the things you should have avoided when you were young and indestructible... I have a collection of those being a 1945 model myself.... :smile:KennyV
