Engine/drivetrain specific forums?

Of all the brands built,they have only a few different motor and transaxle manufacturers.
How about a seperate section with sub forums for briggs/Kohler/kawasaki etc..
Transaxle and suspension specific sub-forums as well as an implement would help also.

Would be real helpful to look through a specific forum versus having to do a site search and weed through results.
There might be a great thread about a Kohler motor in the poulan forum that isn't in the craftsman forum.

Seems to be a heavily traveled site,this would help with not only finding info but also if you just wish to peruse a subject without having to do a site search.

I agree....having a separate section for different engine brands would be good. As you said, people with engine problems post them in the SMALL ENGINE AND MOWER REPAIR forum, but then you have to search for threads about the specific engine brand you are looking for. If they don't put it in that, they put it in the section of their MOWER brand, and the engine's problem is totally separate from a mower problem. They should have separate forums for HONDA, BRIGGS & STRATTON, KAWASAKI, KOHLER, etc. engines. Good idea!
