If possible, I'd like to locate complete carburetor, but I haven't had any luck, except for rebuild kits, so if there is a good rebuild kit someone would recommend, all im finding is chinese jobs.. Any Info is helpful. Any other tips on the chainsaw will be appreciated too

From my investigation your carb has a Husqvarna part number of 538408201, but is only available in Europe. This is why you won’t find it available in the US. My suggestion is to contact Husqvarna directly or the distributor you obtain your Husqvarna parts from.

The repair kit you looking is a Zama RB-19 which they obsoleted as the distributors are no longer listing it. But you can pick up an aftermarket kit from Amazon.

or you get two kit from e Bay.

Or you can get one from Sawzilla.

That chainsaw is a pain to work on and probably has no chain brake for safety. Don’t know why anyone would want it.

Not everything as simple as we like. Some things are royal pain even on today's equipment.

And there is brake as the IPL shows a brake assy. on that '88-'89 saw.

You must be a young pup to complain about the chain brake. Most of those saws with that wrap around chain brake got removed within the first 10 minutes because it was impossible to get to the fill caps, and you had to unbolt the chain brake from the side cover to remove the chain. And if you could keep the case to engine bolts installed you were ahead of the curve. Only saw worse was the plastic case Homelite saws that you had to remove the engine from the case to replace the sprocket.

I started with the Power Mac 6, Mini mac 110, and the 10-10. 2 of those saws were prior to chain brakes and chain catchers.

I still got one of those Little Reds here. The problem with most of them was the oil pump failing and JD quit making the pump diaphragms, Still a great top handle saw for pruning fruit trees.
