I may be wrong, but I think the demographic they are shooting for are the small acreage land owners, say less than 5 acres, maybe even less than 3 acres, who live close to a city or are otherwise in a suburban area. They have a need for a decent sized lawn mower, 46" is not huge, but it's not small either. They occasionally have a need for a utility vehicle but don't want to spend $5k even on a well used one, hence the small bed, 17 mph top speed and 500 lb towing capacity. They occasionally have a need for a small chainsaw, if they don't want to mess with a gas powered one, they can use the Raven to power it. And finally, when the power goes out, they just plug in their mower and power at least a portion of their house. I think it's a great idea.
However, I too wonder about its durability and build quality. I also wonder how well will it handle tall heavy grass. And.... what's the service life of the 48v battery and how much will a replacement cost?
