Black & Decker LST400 noise in head

I have had this trimmer for many years. My wife loves it. A couple years ago it started making a noise while the head was spinning. I opened up the housing, cleaned it out and lube the bushings as best I could. That helped for a while, but it came back. I did this several times before trying to get her to upgrade to something more durable. NOPE. This one was light and she loves it.

Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?
