The suburban, my JDs,everything. Why? Some pompous beaurocrat known as the 'inspector' cited me, and gave me 10 days to remove them.

I'm so angry and sad I don't know whether to cry or crap nails.......I am beside myself. I guess this hobby is done! I guess I'll stick to watches - until the inspector tells me "ze nazis do not like such things in the hands of such with your resources......"

I am so sick of living in this rotten state - and listening to blowhard self-important political boobs telling me how free I am. Horse s**t! I am really pissed beyond words, which for me is kinda rare.

Thanks, BK - he's a real inspector.

He goes around when the courthouse nazis need money. They dig up old laws, find the offenders least likely to be able to satisfactorily comply, and issue citations in hopes we can't fix it all, and they'll fine us for however long it takes until we are in compliance with said law on the books.

Not a yearly thing - but I notice if there aren't a lot of traffic tickets being issued, they'll find another way to drum up cash for the courthouse......

Just makes me sick. My direct neighbor's house stinks so bad of rotting food and whatnot, that I can smell it from my kitchen. But, complaints to this beaurocratic fool go unanswered, until he gets his marching orders from "da judge". Mad really doesn't quite cover it.

The machines are now all gone. Gave them away to avoid junking them. Didn't even have time to sell them. All that is left is a snowblower, my Snapper push mower, and my RER Snapper. I feel like I've been robbed. :frown:

He's a local wanker. He'll let us go for a couple of years, then nail us with citations, when (as I said) we are most likely to get fined. He just loves us trailer trash. Got about 50 of us this year. Good catch for him!

The number. Oh, that and I still have a small brush pile.

Lemme see - it rained all spring, then we had a couple nice weeks, then it turned hotter than the Middle East overnight. This year has not been the one for "well, let's get our 30 loads of brush that the winter blessed me with to the woods......" No, it's been "let's wait for it to dry out - wait.......98 degrees/80% humidity? - yeah, right......"

I don't blame you for being angry, those local code enforcement p-----s tick me off big time. I have had two issues with the local Nazi about having an unregistered running pickup I used to haul brush arounbd on my property, he says it had to have LICENSE PLATES (and I would have to have liabiity insurance on it) to keep it outdoors. For a decent looking truck that never leaves my property that is about $500 a year for being able to leave it outside. So I sold it. Those cretins really have NOTHING else to do except go out and snoop and try to find a violation. Would you have been able to keep your equipment if it had been stored in a shed?

Why did he make you get rid of them?

Many locations forbid keeping more than a certain number of non-running vehicles and/or equipment on your premises. The idea is to keep property owners from collecting junk which is an "eyesore" or whatever they call it. My township got along fine without a code enforcement officer for over 100 years, the one we have now is a grade A, gold plated JERK. I hope the p---- is in a dangerous building some day and it caves in on him.
