A dog that can mow the lawn

My brother says he witnessed this on a talent show on TV and despite my insistence that this was impossible, it hit me that you can train a pet, and especially a dog to do anything you want it to.

Perhaps we should even device mechanisms to make them speak. :laughing:

Canines are very smart and they can do a lot of things. I haven't seen this clip with the lawn mowing dog, but I don't doubt it at all, not for a second.

I haven't seen this, either, but I also believe it. We had a dog once, a beagle, who could have been trained to do all kinds of things. She was one smart hound dog.

I have known many dogs that had a lot more on the ball than some of the people I have encountered...

LOL, Kenny. I have to agree with you on that one. There are some witless types out there, that's for sure. I have to say that most of my dogs have been very intelligent and, yes, more intelligent than some humans I think.

We had a dog that could almost speak, she would come tell you "out" when she wanted out. My folks now have a husky that does the same thing.

That reminds me of my beagle who told me off one day for not taking her on a walk quick enough. You should have heard her. It was hysterical. She yelled at me all the way down the block until I finally said something like, 'hey, we're walking now; enjoy it or you're miss it'. True story.

Interesting clip, haha. We once had a dog that was so fond of me that it would practically call me by name. It was just one of a kind but being a genius, had to die early.
