I’ve had this now for the third year. It has 60 or 62” deck and 30 horsepower B&S engine.it has served me well. Is this anywhere compareable to the newer mowers from Scag? In my yard with thinner grass it will get you dirty, I suppose this maybe is normal. In my mother in laws with good grass it does well. Any remarks?

Make sure that you have the tires aired up to the recommended pressures.
Level and pitch the deck. Level from side to side and pitched down 1/4” in the front.
Use standard lift Scag blades or equivalent aftermarket replacement.
This will cut down on some of the dust. It will give you a good cut on your mother in law’s yard.
If those blades are 21” and have a 5/8” center hole, a rolled lift Hustler blade will work well.
