Had a friend use my trimmer and now it will not start. It appears the "cold start lever" and choke does not go into position. It appears to be slipping on its shaft. I cannot determine the cold start position of the linkages with the carburetor. Any help appreciated.

OK, my answer to my question. FWIW Homelite made this trimmer. The cold start lever did loosen on the shaft due to the user holding the trimmer against his body. Unfortunately the repair requires replacement of the carburetor.
