I am rebuilding (at no charge) two Bachtold DR brush cutter mowers for a non-profit arboretum. Actually, making three out of two. These are the old kind (90's) and they are in bad shape. After welding, turning shafts on the lathe building up worn shafts and fortunately being able to find a few new parts I am down to the assembly.
The Bachtold mower has a gear reduction to the drive wheels. it uses two chains with three drive shafts and four sprockets. It is a sealed box. I am wondering what kind of oil or grease to use on the chains and sprockets. The bearings are sealed bearings.
Thanks in advance,
Jim
