Honestly I do not have the answer for you but stripping accours as the mower deck lays down the turf in the direction of mow one light one dark. Most stripping on a golf course is done with a roller mostly a rear roller but you can make a mower give a better stip using a piece for rubber like an old rubber bed liner cut it to fit then attache to the rear of the deck so it lower then the deck , just into the turf so you can back up with out it going under the mower to much and so it cannot be picked up by the blades. The old Toro Pro Mowers used a skid shoe for hight adjustment on their reel mowers but it also stripped very well
