WELCOME to LMF...

This sounds bad... and likely is the clutch coming apart..
If you look closely at the clutch, You may find something jammed between the clutch disks ... if it is something that has been jammed into it from the outside, all you need to do is dig it out... BUT usually it is the clutch disk itself separating and the pieces stack up and jam the clutch together... If that's the case you will have to replace the assembly... :smile:KennyV

More than likely the pulley bearing in the clutch has seized and is keeping the pulley and deck turning. With the engine shut off, disconnect the power plug to the clutch, move the electrical wires and yourself out of harms way, and crank the engine and see if the deck is still turning and if so, it is new clutch time!!!

Agree with both also note some clutches are adjustable and need adjusted every 100 hrs or so if not they will overheat or melt windings could be part of bearing failure
