Need hellp with little wire on snapper rer

So I had to replace the throttle bracket on my snapper 13.5hp because the little nylon slide that holds the cable snapped...not too hard a job...got it back together and now the mower wont start...I think the problem is a thin black wire that comes out from under the flywheel shroud..need to know where it hooks up...is it a ground, or does it connect to the other two wires that are hooked up together on a stand alone stud mounted on a plastic insulator that mounts to the bracket. couldnt find any real diagrams on this.

Most likely likely it's the coil kill wire. But it still should start without it hooked up I believe. Pull the flywheel shroud and look.
Is it bare copper wire on the end or does it have a connector of sorts?
I know enough to be dangerous

Now, will the engine turnover? OR nothing when you turn the key?

Engine will crank but not start even with starting fluid....only difference from a previous running engine is I replaced the throttle bracket and dont know where that skinniy black wire goes...it is a single strand copper wire.

Take off the blower/flywheel housing and trace the wire. To make sure its the coil kill wire
IF it goes from the ignition coil straight to ground, you will not have spark.

You had it right at the end of your original post.
It goes on the INSULATED post,
When the wire is grounded you get no spark.
There are two different types of "OFF" switches
One is on the plate you just replaced so throttling down kills the engine
The other is on the key switch and grounds the wire there
To simplify ( and shorten ) the wiring a lot of mowers run the key switch kill wire to the throttle control kill wire
So the kill wire from the magneto will go on the terminal on the insulated post .
