Just hit a rock and broke the drive belt (the one with teeth, not the V-belts)

replaced the drive belt and seems a few other things are wrong.

Before i start randomly replacing parts, thought i'd get some advice.

Seems i have to pull the clutch? handle in a lot farther to get rolling now. Before, it would engage when it was pulled about 3/4 of the way in, now it has to be pulled all the way to the handlebar before it will engage.

Also, when i release the top lever to turn off the blades, there is a loud rattle/growling noise that was not there before

So, the question is, since nothing was adjusted, and the clutch lever seems to have been knocked out of adjustment, should i be looking for a bent part/parts, should i just adjust the clutch or does the combination of the clutch and the noise when disengaging the blades point to something specific? ie. bent shaft, ruined bearing etc?
Blades seem to turn fine when engaged and shifting gears seems to be fine as well.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jeff

Carefully inspect the blades, shafts, and bearing housings. The housing may be cracked or broken as it is a light casting.
