While I don' t claim to be an expert, this one puzzles me. I'm pretty good with repairs.

Out of nowhere the 255LN just all of a sudden stopped STARTING. Its about 3 years old, not a ton of daily use.

What have I done ?

Checked spark- ok
new plug, ok Plug was wet.
Removed carb, cleaned,
removed carb replaced
removed the muffler, cleaned and checked spark arrest
replaced gas lines
replaced fuel vent

After all this it actually started and ran fine for about 2 weeks , no issues, it ran fine no shutdown.

Then the initial issue came back, just like that. it will not start.

There is fuel in the bulb, and there is spark. I opened the cap to allow venting.

I bought another blower yesterday as I am worn out on this, but I sure wouldn't mind a point in another direction . Maybe learn a new trick !

Spark, fuel, air, combustion, venting.

What am I missing ? thx in advance

Oh yeah, the new one is running on the same gas.

Talking about compression the question is how much? Didn't happen to look at the cylinder walls and the side of the piston when you had the muffler off.
