Does anyone know where to find a new replacement recoil starter with the configurations as shown in photos? All recoil pulleys i've seen do not match the clutch nose. I would grind off the spotwelds on the old one and attach new unit. Thanx!

Numbers off the engine shroud would help us a lot. So would pictures of the old recoil and starter clutch. Parts are still available both can’t help much until we get more info. Please explain further why you are replacing any which parts you need.

The individual parts are available but the complete recoil assembly is not, the replacement can be installed after cutting the extension off the crank shaft. It is a more reliable system.
