Hi looking for some direction

Visible spark/flame around the spark plug threads when...
....I increase throttle Especially when increased quickly
...Occasionally happens during idle
.... Usually engine cuts out
.... Does not always happen
... Under load it doesn't really happpen

I had my supplier service and they changed carb but I dont think they saw/knew of this problem
quick video showing it

Anyone know the cause and is there even a name for this ?

Called flashover.
It's an insulation issue.

Remove the spark plug and clean the insulator with brake cleaner.
Saturate the plug cap with WD 40 then tip it out and blow dry
When the plug is out check the plug gap and clean the tip with some very fie wet & dry.

To put is simply, there is less resistance for the spark running down the outside of the plug than there is to jump the gap inside.
Electricity is even lazier than me so it takes the easy path.

If it still does it after cleaning then the plug is bad .
