Hello everyone.

I'm searching for a ZT for my 1 acre property and have come to the conclusion I would prefer a B&S vanguard engine.

Is there anything I should know about the latest vanguard engines? Do they all clearly have a sticker that says Vanguard and are they still made in japan? And is the Professional series a step down, or in between the intek and vanguard?

Thanks!

The professional is an upgraded Intek with better air filtration, full pressure lube, and chrome exhaust valve. The Vanguards are made in Alabama, or at least the big block with plans to build the small block there also in the near future.

Thanks ILENGINE. According to this, By the end of 2017, Briggs & Stratton is planning to move the production of Vanguard V-twin from Japan to USA.

I found a Simplicity or 7mph Ferris with 50" deck and 20hp vanguard.

Over priced?
