You may remember from a previous post I had trouble with the B&S 27hp engine on my Bad Boy.
To recap what was done since that time:
1. New ignition coil on #2 cylinder. Old was bad, no spark
2. New B&S carb. Factory job not Chinese knockoff. Replaced it because still would not run right after new coil. Still didn't run right
3. Found exhaust push rod on #1 cylinder had come loose from rocker arm. For sure won't run right like this. Put rod back in place and adjusted valves.

After adjusting valves won't start without a shot of starter fluid, then runs fine. I have tried throttle in every position and will not start when cold. Will restart when hot.
What the Hell am I missing???
Thanks for the help.

The choke is not closing fully
Adjust the cable clamp till it closes the choke fully.

That was it. Adjusted cable and starts up and runs fine. FINALLY....this has been a learning experience.

Thanks for all the help.
