Hi All,
This is a brand new carb....but seems to be leaking some gas out of the fuel intake. There is a small detacheable piece that the fuel line is connected to. It is barbed, and the fuel line is held on by a small hose clamp. I recently replaced the rubber fuel line hose, as it had some cracks in it and was causing leaks. Now it appears its definitely leaking from that piece.
Should I just take the carb back off, then wrap a little bit of plumbers tape on that piece to stop it? It's not leaking very much.........maybe a few drops every couple of hours, but just want to take care of it.
Pictures attached.........
