My Stihl FS 130 will not run unless I take off the carb filter- and it is brand new
Also, when I get done with a yard and put it away, there's quite a build up of gas visable
Any suggestions?? Thank you

You've got High and Low mixture screws on the backside along with an idle adjustment and it sounds like your mixture screws are out of adjustment. They should have been set at the factory. If the unit is new I'd take it back to the dealer and have them make the adjustment and it shouldn't cost you any thing.
If the head is spinning when you start the machine the idle adjustment is set too high. The Idle adjustment should be set to the point of the head not spinning. Hope this helps you out.

Few things,

First, How old is the unit, whats the serial if you can read it. Next, which oil are you using (recommend fully synthetic oil), and last, are you running it without the guard on the end of it?
