Hi
I am new to forum. I bought a craftsman riding mower t2300 2 years ago. Recently this mower has developed transmission issue,
The reverse is performed by lifting the accelerator pedal rather than pressing it. There is a small pedal on floor to do this. Recently
the reverse has become too difficult, you have to press the pedal very hard, Pressing the brake pedal make it easier
Once it starts moving in reverse it sticks there and keeps on moving despite releasing the pedal
Once it does that , you can only break the motion by pressing brake. Then the forward motion pedal becomes too hard.
Again pressing the brake pedal changes that.
How can I fix this

Sounds really like crud build up on the transmission preventing the levers moving
Get it up ( the mower that is ) and get some air in there to clean all of the debris out.
After that a little spray lube, Lithium grease not WD 40 on all of the moving parts will also help.
