sputters and dies after 30minutes of mowing

go buy a red in line spark tester, or two and a can of carb cleaner.
Fit the testers then go mow.
The instant it stops crank the engine and watch the spark testers.
regular red flashes = ignition fine
Now spray some carb cleaner down the carb.
Fires right up = fuel problem
Won't fire = valve problem.

OK, folks, this engine doesn't have a fuel pump. Don't know what the model" is because it was scratched off. I replaced the carb, didn't help so the other day I took the gas tank off and replaced the gas line, I also rerouted the line so it was above the frame. Cut my ladyfriend's lawn and walla! Ran great. Hope this cures the problem and maybe helps someone else with a similar problem....russ
