Ok so gonna be a bit of a long post.
First thanks for accepting me into the forum.
Ok here goes:
Bought a used LGTX 1054 last fall. Ran great and seemed to do everything it’s supposed to do. Except it seemed to bog down cutting grass. Even not tall dry grass. Only things that I found after I bought it was a loose deck belt and the pto looked like it was replaced. The pto wasn’t installed properly and the anti rotate bar wasn’t in the notch. I fixed that but didn’t make a difference.
Pulled it out this spring and did a tuneup.
Plugs, gas filter, oil, oil filter and blades. Still having the same issue. I checked the spindles and checked the deck over. Seems to hesitate engaging the pto and it doesn’t like grass more than a few inches high. I’m stumped. Any thoughts or what to try? Maybe I’m missing something? Thanks!
