Cub Cadet LTX 1040 42" timed mower deck

I'm in need of a deck for a Cub Cadet LTX 1040. This is an older one circa 2009 or so with the timed deck. You can ID them by the spindle pulleys which have teeth.

One of the wheel brackets broke off of my deck, so if I can't find another deck for cheap I'll try to find someone to weld it back on. So basically the deck doesn't need all the spindles and pulleys to be in prime condition, and if they are, then it's probably too expensive for me.

Yep, all I can find are pristine decks for sale so next week I'm going to have it welded.

I wonder where do all the old used up mowers go? There must be thousands of discarded decks with nothing wrong except for bad spindles or pulleys.

Some probably go to a mower salvage yard, but most probably go to a junkyard, get crushed into a cube and hauled off.
