My LTX 1040 Single cyl Kohler That runs extremely has developed a fuel drip at the Carburator. Its hard for me to get down that low but it feels like its coming from a solenoid on the bowl.hould I buy a solenoid or is there a gasket/oring/crush washer in that system. If I close the fuel shut off before I shut down it will stop. All advice appreciated Thanks Jim

There is a paper gasket on the solenoid. I would fix and continue to use the fuel shut off valve as it relieves the pressure on the needle and seat. You will need a thin 1/2 inch open end to remove the solenoid or grind a old tool to fit.
