Picked up new to me mower, got it home and it was leaking oil. Guy took it back and replaced valve cover gasket. Now I still have a small leak under the motor. Thoughts?

Hard to tell by picture if it’s still your valve cover leaking or somewhere else. I would pull the cover off and clean up well and use RTV sealant with the gasket. Check for valve lash adjustment while you have the cover off.
