Hello all. I have a Craftsman LT1500 mower with a 17.5hp 500cc Briggs and I need to get a carb rebuild kit. Having a difficult time finding a parts list for the mower. Looking to identify the engine model. What I can find is engine family ABSXS.5002VV manufactured 2010. Thanks for any info.

On the engine cover there is a set of three numbers, model, type, and code. With those numbers we can find what you need.

Briggs OHV engines normally have the model number information stamped into the OHV cover.
